Press Pass Terms & Conditions

Maine Paranormal and Horror Convention

By applying for and/or accepting a Press Pass for the Maine Paranormal and Horror Convention (“Event”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility & Approval

Press Passes are reserved for qualified members of the media, including journalists, photographers, videographers, and content creators who provide verifiable coverage in print, online, or broadcast media.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. All applications are subject to review and approval by Event Management. Approval is based on relevance, audience reach, and professional conduct.

2. Pass Privileges

An approved Press Pass grants access to general areas of the convention for coverage purposes only.
Access to certain panels, celebrity meet & greets, photo ops, green rooms, or restricted areas may require additional authorization and are subject to availability. Press Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

3. Conduct & Coverage

Press attendees are expected to act professionally at all times and respect the privacy and space of attendees, guests, and vendors.
Filming, photography, and interviews must not interfere with event operations or obstruct other guests’ experiences.
Any content captured must represent the event, its guests, and attendees in a respectful and accurate manner.

4. Content Rights & Usage

All media captured during the event may be used for editorial coverage or professional review. Commercial use of footage, photos, or recordings without written permission from Event Management is strictly prohibited.
The Event reserves the right to use, share, or repost any coverage, including photos or videos, for promotional purposes with proper credit.

5. Revocation of Privileges

Event Management reserves the right to revoke any Press Pass at any time if the holder fails to comply with these terms, engages in disruptive behavior, or misrepresents their credentials. Removal from the premises may occur without refund or appeal.

6. Liability Disclaimer

Press attendees assume all risks associated with attendance. The Event, its organizers, venue, and affiliates are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to equipment or property.

7. Agreement

By accepting a Press Pass, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all terms and conditions listed above.
